Leading up to midnight on New Years Eve we took deck chairs and food down to Southbank with Rob and Rhonda.  Kaisha was also allowed to come with Nanny and Grandad as a special treat

New Years day was spent relaxing at Nick and Mel's pool.

3rd January I flew to NZ, had a short night with Sharee and then flew to Taupo - first time back here for more than three years.

Had an amazing time with Jane at Kinloch and Mark and Jen.

And then it was off back to Auckland for Damien & Elise's engagement party.

The next morning Jane and I flew to Christchurch for Mum's birthday.  Jane and I made lunch for the family.

And time to head back to Brisbane.

I can't go too long without a visit to Broadbeach. Lying on the beach and a little retail therapy!

We took a roady to Coffs Harbour and camped for the night. We called in to see Graeme and Colleen at Lennox Head.  

And then it was Nick's 32nd birthday and Australia Day!
